News Topical, Digital Desk : The 12 states where the Election Commission of India has announced a thorough revision of voter lists include Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Let us tell you how many voters were there in these states during the last elections.

Chhattisgarh: 21,230,000

Gujarat: 50,839,000

Madhya Pradesh: 57,405,000

Rajasthan: 54,885,000

Uttar Pradesh: 154,424,000

That means, in the current voter list, there are a total of 33 crore 87 lakh 83 thousand voters in these five states.

Chhattisgarh has 11 Lok Sabha seats, 90 assembly constituencies, and 33 districts. Gujarat has 26 Lok Sabha seats, 182 assembly constituencies, and 33 districts. Madhya Pradesh has 29 Lok Sabha seats, 230 assembly constituencies, and 55 districts. Rajasthan has 25 Lok Sabha seats, 200 assembly constituencies, and 50 districts. Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha seats, 403 assembly constituencies, and 75 districts. Across these five states, a total of 171 Lok Sabha and 1,105 assembly constituencies will undergo a thorough revision of the voter list.
