Nana Patekar, who will soon be seen in the comedy franchise Housefull, recalled his old days when he did not even have money to run the house. When he was struggling in Mumbai, he found a support in the industry, who was veteran Hindi and Marathi actor Ashok Saraf. 

Ashok used to do this work to help his grandfather 

We have already told you that Nana Patekar and Ashok Saraf were together since their theatre days. Ashok Saraf is senior to Nana Patekar. While the 'Koyla' actor used to get Rs 250 for a play, Nana used to earn only Rs 50. 

To help his friend, Ashok Saraf not only got a foot massage done by him before going to the play, but he also used to play cards in which he would intentionally lose so that Nana Patekar could win and he could help him financially without humiliating him. Nana Patekar's upcoming film 'Housefull-5' will be released on 6th June, in which the suspense over the actor's character is still intact.
