This movie was directed by R Balachandra. The shooting of the movie started with the climax scene and Kamal Haasan had a three and a half minute dialogue in it.
Since Kamal is basically a South Indian and he was not fluent in Hindi, it was a tough task for him to deliver such a long dialogue. The situation was such that Kamal could not deliver this Hindi dialogue and later the director got it dubbed by someone else. This is how that scene of Ek Duje Ke Liye was prepared.
