News Topical, Digital Desk : Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBS) and Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have announced their alliance. After 20 years, the Thackeray brothers are once again standing together. Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray held a press conference to announce the Shiv Sena-MNS alliance.

Both party leaders will now be contesting the municipal council (BMC) elections together. Uddhav Thackeray said at a press conference that "we have come together to remain united."

Uddhav Thackeray further said that 'those who cannot tolerate the happenings within the BJP can also join the Shiv Sena (UBT)-MNS alliance.'

After the press conference, the entire families of Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray were seen standing together on stage. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader  Sanjay Raut was also seen with the Thackeray family.

Balasaheb Thackeray's photo on the poster

During the Thackeray brothers' press conference, a poster behind the stage featured a photo of Balasaheb Thackeray. Neither Uddhav Thackeray nor Raj Thackeray's photo was displayed on this poster. Balasaheb Thackeray's photo was placed between the election symbols of both parties.

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray arrived together to pay tribute to their father Balasaheb Thackeray. Both leaders, accompanied by their wives, visited the memorial at Shivaji Park. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and MNS leader Amit Thackeray were also seen with their families on the occasion. Even before the alliance was announced, the entire Thackeray family had come to pay their respects to Balasaheb Thackeray
