Where is the virtual ID generated from

Let us tell you that just like UIDAI issues Aadhaar card, in the same way UIDAI also generates virtual ID. So if you want to create your virtual ID, then you have to visit the official website of UIDAI. To create a virtual ID, you will need your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. Let us tell you that you can also use this virtual ID to avail government services. 

Generate virtual ID in this way

1. To generate Virtual ID, you have to visit  UIDAI website https://www.uidai.gov.in./ .
2. Log in to it and go to Aadhaar Service and click on the Virtual ID option.
3. On the next page, you will have to enter the 16 digits of your Aadhaar and fill the security code.
4. Now an OTT will be sent to your registered number. Verify it by submitting it. 
5. After submitting OTP, you will get the option to Generate VID. 
6. After generating the virtual ID, a message will be sent to you. 
7. Apart from the official website, you can also create a virtual ID through the MAadhaar app.
