Tata Capital's IPO was fully subscribed. As per NSE data, this issue of Rs 15,512 crore received bids for 65.12 crore shares, while 33.34 crore shares were available under offer. Thus, the issue was subscribed 1.95 times. According to the company, the issue was fully subscribed in all categories. The portion reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) was subscribed 3.42 times, the portion reserved for Non-Institutional Investors (NII) was subscribed 1.98 times, and the Retail Investors category was subscribed 1.10 times. Tata Capital raised ₹4,642 crore from anchor investors on October 4th. This anchor book saw strong demand from domestic and international institutional investors, exceeding the allocation by nearly five times. The issue price for the IPO was set at ₹310 to ₹326 per share. At the upper price of ₹326, the company's valuation reaches approximately ₹1.38 lakh crore. Of the total 475.8 million shares, 210 million shares were issued as a fresh issue and 265.8 million shares as an offer for sale (OFS). This is the Tata Group's second major listing in recent years. Tata Technologies had previously entered the market in November 2023. The company's portfolio includes over 25 loan products serving small businesses, SMEs, and corporate customers. It also offers services such as insurance, credit cards, and wealth management.
