News Topical, Digital Desk : Suzlon Energy Ltd. announced in a stock exchange filing on Friday that Vivek Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior Management Person (SMP) of the company's Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) division, has resigned from his position. According to the company, Vivek Srivastava has retired from the company's services as of the close of business on December 26, 2025, and will no longer be a SMP with effect from that date.

The company also stated in its filing that it has received Vivek Srivastava's resignation letter dated December 26, 2025, which outlines the reasons for his resignation. The company's net profit increased year-on-year to ₹1,278 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to ₹200 crore in the same quarter last year. This sharp increase in profit was primarily due to a tax write-back of ₹718 crore. 

Share Performance: The company's stock closed at ₹53.35 on Friday, up 0.094 percent. Over the past year, the company's stock has gained 15.65 percent.
