'Tulsi' is the companion in adversity, knowledge, humility and wisdom.

Courage, good deeds, good vow of truth, faith in Ram is one.

In this couplet, Goswami Tulsidas says that education, humility, knowledge, enthusiasm and virtue are the qualities that support a person in adversity. A person can get these qualities only by trusting Lord Rama.

Tulsi' all deceit leave, do Ram-sneh.

Where is the difference with the husband, who has seen all the bodies.

In this couplet, Goswami ji says that leaving all deceit and fraud, a person should worship God with a true heart. Just as a husband knows all the secrets of his wife's body, in the same way Lord Rama also knows all the deeds of his devotees.

Without relying on the name of Ram, there is hope for welfare of others.

Holding the rain drops in the rain, it wants to climb up to the sky.

The meaning of this couplet is that just as no one can climb the sky by holding the drops of water, in the same way no one can achieve salvation without taking the name of Ram.

Tulsi, love for Ram, equality in the whole world.

No attachment, no anger, no fault, no sorrow, after becoming a slave, he crosses the world.

In this couplet Tulsi ji says that those who have affection for Lord Shri Ram and equality for the whole world. Also those who do not have any feeling of attachment, hatred, faults and sorrow towards anyone. All those devotees have crossed the ocean of existence by the grace of Shri Ram.

People are happy, all are worthy, they are worthy without chem.

The meaning of this couplet is that all people are engaged in yoga i.e. in achieving the unobtainable object. But yoga is useless without finding a way to protect the object obtained. Similarly, all rules are useless without the love of Shri Ram Ji.
