Celebrated on the seventh day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Phalgun, Shabari Jayanti is being celebrated this year on February 9th. Pujan Vidhi (Shabari Jayanti 2026 Pujan Vidhi)
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, take water in your hand, meditate on Lord Rama and Mother Shabari and take a vow to fast.
- Sprinkle Ganga water in the puja room or any clean place.
- Spread a red or yellow cloth on an altar there and install the idols of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Mother Shabari .
- Light a lamp and incense of cow ghee.
- Offer yellow flowers to Lord Rama and red flowers to Mother Sita and Goddess Shabari.
- Apply tilak of Gopi sandalwood and roli.
- During the puja, recite or listen to 'Sabari Prasanga' from Ramayana.
- Then recite Shabari Katha.
- Perform Aarti at the end.
- Apologize for all the mistakes made during the puja.
