This day is dedicated to the devotee who, through her eagerness and love, invited the Lord himself to her doorstep. Celebrated on the seventh day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Phalgun, Shabari Jayanti is being celebrated this year on February 9th. By eating Shabari Mata's leftover berries, Lord Rama gave the message to the entire world that in devotion, no one is small or great. Let us learn about the simple worship method, offerings, and mantras for this auspicious day, which are as follows:
Pujan Vidhi (Shabari Jayanti 2026 Pujan Vidhi)
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, take water in your hand, meditate on Lord Rama and Mother Shabari and take a vow to fast.
- Sprinkle Ganga water in the puja room or any clean place.
- Spread a red or yellow cloth on an altar there and install the idols of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Mother Shabari .
- Light a lamp and incense of cow ghee.
- Offer yellow flowers to Lord Rama and red flowers to Mother Sita and Goddess Shabari.
- Apply tilak of Gopi sandalwood and roli.
- During the puja, recite or listen to 'Sabari Prasanga' from Ramayana.
- Then recite Shabari Katha.
- Perform Aarti at the end.
- Apologize for all the mistakes made during the puja.

Plum has the greatest importance in the worship of Mother Shabari.
- Plums: Offer plums to Lord Rama and Mother Shabari on this day. Ensure the fruits are fresh and sweet.
- Satvik sweets: Apart from this, you can also offer tubers, honey and home-made saffron kheer.
