News Topical, Digital Desk : The Noida International Airport, being built in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, will now be considered one of the safest airports in the country. State-of-the-art security technology has been installed, making it virtually impossible for any vehicle or person to enter without permission. The airport administration has activated a crash-rated bollard system, capable of stopping or destroying any suspicious vehicle within seconds.

According to reports, this high-tech security system has been installed at both the eastern and western entrances of the airport. This system ensures that no unauthorized person or vehicle can enter the premises. The entire system has been developed in accordance with international security standards.

The CISF has been assigned security duties. Currently, 120 personnel have been deployed, and this number will be increased to 1,047 once the airport is operational. These personnel will monitor the security of the entire airport complex. Over 350 CCTV cameras and high-resolution cameras equipped with AI technology have been installed, which will continuously monitor every activity.

The crash-rated bollard system is made up of sturdy iron pillars embedded beneath the road. When a vehicle attempts unauthorized entry, sensors and AI cameras activate immediately to identify the vehicle. If a suspect is detected, the underground pillars rise instantly, stopping the vehicle.

Tyre killers and boom barriers at airport gates

Additionally, tire killers and boom barriers have been installed at the airport gates. These systems activate instantly and puncture the vehicle's tires if someone attempts to forcibly enter. This entire process takes just seconds, thwarting any attack or intrusion attempt.

Currently, officials say this security system will be able to prevent or neutralize any threats approximately one kilometer before the runway. For the safety of staff and passengers, a turnstile system has also been installed that will prevent entry without valid ID.

Noida Airport is the second international airport of Delhi-NCR.

It is worth noting that Jewar Airport is an ambitious project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is being constructed by the Swiss company Zurich Airport International. This airport will be the second international airport in Delhi-NCR. Its completion in the coming years will significantly enhance the connectivity and economic development of not only Delhi-NCR but also Western Uttar Pradesh. Equipped with smart technology, this airport will also feature modern facilities such as face recognition entry, automated bag drop, real-time data tracking, and a smart cargo management system. This airport will become a new model for India's technology-based security system in the future.
