News Topical, Digital Desk : Lord Shiva's favorite month Sawan will start from July 11 this year (Sawan Somwar 2025 Date) and will continue till August 9, 2025. During this time, devotees of Bhole worship him with full devotion throughout the month and especially on Mondays. 

It is said that during the month of Sawan, Bholenath himself leaves Kailash and comes to earth and controls the universe. By worshipping him during this time, he quickly becomes happy and blesses his devotees with happiness, peace and prosperity.

Panchakshari Mantra- Om Namah Shivay. 

The meaning of this mantra is that I bow to Lord Shiva. This mantra is as simple as it is effective. Chanting it regularly brings mental peace. Obstacles in life are removed and negativity ends, opening the doors to new possibilities.

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra- Om Trimbakam Yajamahe Sugandhi Pushtivardhanam, Urvarukamiv Bandhanan Mrityormukshiya Mamritat.

The meaning of this mantra is that we worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, who is fragrant and nurturing. Just as a ripe fruit separates from its branch, similarly we should also get rid of the bondage of death and attain immortality. The person chanting this mantra or for whom this mantra is being chanted, gets a long life.

Chanting this mantra protects one from diseases, accidents and premature death. This is the most powerful and blessing mantra of Lord Shiva. 

The meaning of this mantra is that we meditate on Lord Mahadev, who is the ultimate source of knowledge. May he provide us with spiritual power and wisdom. Chanting this mantra gives self-knowledge. Mental peace is attained and if there is any difficulty in taking a decision, then guidance starts coming from the effect of this mantra.
