News Topical, Digital Desk : In the year 2007, Ranbir Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Saawariya. Then he appeared in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani, Anjaana Anjaani, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Rockstar. Due to these films, the actor emerged as a chocolate boy and he started being counted among the best romantic heroes.

Meanwhile, Ranbir did some out-of-the-box movies and tried to experiment, but the condition of some films was such that the actor started doubting himself. Recently  Anurag Kashyap  has talked about this.

These films of Ranbir were a huge flop

Anurag and Ranbir Kapoor worked together in the film Bombay Velvet released in 2015. This film was a huge flop. Before this, he was seen in his brother Abhinav Kashyap's movie Besharam. This too was a flop and then Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos also failed.

Ranbir had gone into self doubt

Talking to Galata Plus, Anurag Kashyap said about Ranbir Kapoor, “He is very committed. This is the only thing for which I hold myself responsible. He has stopped experimenting much. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, it was an experiment. He trusts his director completely. Once he trusts, he is completely involved but there came a time when he started doubting himself a lot.”

I left this thing after it flopped

Talking about Ranbir Kapoor  , he further said, "It was a series of three films. It was my film, my brother's film (Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam and Jagga Jasoos (directed by Anurag Basu). So after that he suddenly stopped experimenting but his commitment is amazing, he doesn't do wrong, directors do wrong. Everyone together makes a good film, but directors make bad films."
