News Topical, Digital Desk : Rajasthan Bus Accident News: A sleeper bus went out of control and overturned on Jaipur-Agra National Highway 21 near Dehra turn in Lakhanpur police station area of ​​​​Bharatpur district of Rajasthan at around 4:45 am on Thursday. There were about 40 passengers in this bus going from Surat to Gorakhpur.

8 passengers were seriously injured when the bus overturned, who have been admitted to RBM Hospital in Bharatpur, while some passengers were given first aid on the spot. As soon as the bus overturned, there was chaos among the passengers. Eyewitnesses present at the spot said that the bus was moving at a high speed and the driver tried to overtake in a hurry, after which the bus went out of control and overturned. 

108 ambulance and police teams reached the spot

Local people and other drivers immediately informed the police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, 108 ambulances and police teams from Nadbai, Dahra, Lakhanpur, Bansi and Halena reached the spot. With the help of police and ambulance personnel, the passengers trapped in the bus were taken out after a lot of effort and the injured were taken to the hospital. 

The passengers injured in the accident were Jitendra (18), son of Rameshwar, resident of Jabalpur, Rajesh (36), son of Vandan, Moti Chand (35), resident of Jhoka, Laxmi (38), wife of Arvind, Paras (48), son of Ranjit, Ram Babu (23), son of Ram Mohan, Jaiprakash (63), son of Bhagwat, resident of Surat (Gujarat) and Dhananjay (27).

What did the police say?

Dahara Chowki in-charge ASI Edal Singh said that information was received that a sleeper coach bus was coming from Jaipur and it went out of control and overturned. According to the information, the bus driver tried to overtake another vehicle on the highway. In the attempt to overtake, the bus first collided with that vehicle and then went out of control and overturned. Hearing the loud sound of the collision and overturning, the nearby villagers and the drivers passing by the spot immediately informed the police and ambulance. Police is investigating the matter.
