This month is dedicated to Lord Krishna, the savior of the world.  The birthday of Lord Krishna  is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksha of this month. At the same time, the birthday of Shreeji i.e. Radha Rani is celebrated on the Ashtami date of Shukla Paksha.

When is Pradosh Vrat? (When is Pradosh Vrat 2025)

The first Pradosh fast of the month of Bhadrapad is going to fall on Wednesday. Hence, it will be called Budh Pradosh fast. By observing Budh Pradosh fast, all your wishes are fulfilled. Also, business related problems are resolved. Devotees worship the Shiva family with devotion on the day of Pradosh fast.

 

Pradosh Vrat auspicious time (Pradosh Vrat Shubh Muhurat)

The first Pradosh fast of Bhadrapada month will be observed on 20th August. On this day Trayodashi Tithi will start at 01:58 pm and will end at 12:44 pm on 21st August. Thus Budha Pradosh fast will be observed on 20th August. Puja timings on 20th August are from 06:56 pm to 09:07 pm.

The devotees can worship the God of Gods Mahadev and the Goddess of the world Maa Parvati after taking bath and meditation at the time of their convenience. At the same time, do the worship and Aarti of Mahadev during Pradosh Kaal.
