Patna Encounter: Encounter of notorious criminal Vijay Sahni in Patna, arrested after being injured

In this sequence, an encounter took place between the police and criminals in Patna City on Sunday night, in which notorious criminal Vijay Sahni was shot twice.

Notorious Vijay Sahni injured in police encounter

Notorious Vijay Sahni was injured in a police encounter in Ashu Chak under Ramakrishna Nagar police station. Vijay Sahni, accused in more than 20 cases, was preparing to carry out two major incidents. Based on secret information, the police started the process of raiding Vijay Sahni. Malsalami police station, Alamganj police station and STF took major action and raided Vijay Sahni. 

On this encounter in Patna City, Patna District SP Kartikeya Sharma told the media that Vijay Sahni and his henchmen were about to gather in preparation to carry out two major incidents. As soon as the police got information about this, police from two police stations and STF reached to arrest Vijay Sahni. 

During this successful action was taken. When Vijay Sahni was asked about his whereabouts and weapons, he confessed everything and took the police to the place where he had kept the weapons. Vijay Sahni had kept the weapons in a sack. While taking out the weapons from the sack, he opened fire on the police. 

Vijay Sahni fired one bullet and in retaliation, the police fired two bullets. In the retaliatory firing, both the bullets hit Vijay Sahni's legs, due to which he got injured and fell down. He has been admitted to NMCH for treatment.

Two weapons recovered from Vijay Sahni's hideout

Patna SSP said that two weapons have been recovered from Vijay Sahni's hideout. Vijay Sahni has accepted his involvement in many murders. SSP said that Vijay Sahni is also involved in the robbery cases in Orissa and Dhanbad and today he has accepted this. 

The SSP said that a hotelier Santosh Prasad was murdered in the month of March. Vijay Sahni was also involved in the murder of Santosh Prasad. The notorious Vijay Sahni has admitted that he was involved in the murder of the hotelier. 

While the administration and the government are being targeted by opposition parties amid rising crime in Bihar, the Bihar Police is continuously taking action to crack down on criminals.
