According to the Vedic calendar, Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month will begin at 03:53 am on 03 September. At the same time, Ekadashi Tithi will end at 04:21 am on 04 September. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma. For this, the date is calculated from sunrise.
When will Parivartini Ekadashi be celebrated?
Ekadashi Tithi will start on 03 September at 03:53 am as per the English calendar. In simple words, Ekadashi Tithi will start on the night of 02 September. At the same time, Ekadashi Tithi will end on the night of 03 September. In the English calendar, the date changes after 12 midnight. For this, Ekadashi will be celebrated on 03 September from sunrise date. Therefore, the seekers will keep the fast of Parivartini Ekadashi on 03 September.
Parivartini Ekadashi puja method
Wake up in the Brahma hour on the Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadrapada . At this time, start the day by praying to Lakshmi Narayana. After this, clean the house. After retiring from daily chores, take a bath with water containing Gangajal. Now after rinsing your mouth, wear new and clean yellow clothes.
Offer water to the Sun God, the agent of the soul. After this, do Panchopchar and worship Lakshmi Narayan with devotion. For this, spread a yellow cloth on a stool at the place of worship and place the idol of Lakshmi Narayan on it. Now first of all, perform the Abhishek of Lord Vishnu. You can perform the Abhishek of Lord Vishnu with milk or Panchamrit.
During the puja, offer coconut, fruits, flowers and rice pudding to Lakshmi Narayan. Recite the Vrat Katha and chant the mantra. Conclude the puja with Aarti. Keep fast throughout the day. Perform Aarti in the evening and eat fruits. Next day, complete the puja at the prescribed time.
