News Topical, Digital Desk : A statement by Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia, Bihar has given birth to a new debate in the country. In the midst of the election atmosphere in Bihar, the statement given by Pappu Yadav about Mohammad Ali Jinnah in an interview given to news agency ANI on Monday is going to create a ruckus in politics.

He also mentioned the visit of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani to Pakistan and asked who had offered a chadar at Jinnah's tomb?

Pappu Yadav in defense of Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Actually MP Pappu Yadav was seen defending Mohammad Ali Jinnah on ANI. Pappu Yadav has said bluntly that "No matter how right or wrong Jinnah is, he does not deserve abuse."

That is, in Pappu Yadav's view, abusing Mohammad Ali Jinnah is wrong. He argued that "Jinnah alone did not play a role in the partition of the country, the circumstances of that time were such that it was responsible for it."

Pappu Yadav, while reacting to the advice given to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief Upendra Kushwaha, said that "the incidents happening in Bihar and the deteriorating law and order situation are part of BJP's effort to damage Nitish Kumar's credibility and personality."

He also said that both Upendra Kushwaha and Chirag Paswan are questioning the government. He said, "In the name of coalition dharma, they are attacking the very leadership under which they are planning to contest the elections. In my view, this clearly shows that they will not contest the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar."

On the Marathi language controversy, the independent MP from Purnia said, "We will fight MNS chief Raj Thackeray in Mumbai. No Marathi organisation will be allowed to work in Bihar."

Tejashwi Yadav was described as 'arrogant prince'

When asked about the incident of not being allowed to climb onto a truck during the Mahagathbandhan's protest against the voter list amendment on July 9, Pappu Yadav said, "I fell and got hurt, the whole world is crazy about Pappu Yadav, I am not made for anyone. Will not share the stage with the 'arrogant prince'. Since my leader Rahul Gandhi was present, there was no need for Pappu Yadav to be there."
