New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday assured the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana of all possible help from the Centre to deal with the crisis arising following heavy rains in their states.
PM Modi spoke to both the chief ministers - N Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh and A Revanth Reddy of Telangana - over the phone in the wake of heavy rains and floods, officials told news agency PTI.

He assured all possible help from the Centre to overcome this challenge. Ten people died in separate rain-related incidents in Telangana as heavy rains continued to lash several parts of the state, including Hyderabad, on Sunday.
17 thousand people were relocated in Andhra
Reddy reviewed the emergency in the wake of incessant rains in the state and spoke to ministers over phone to discuss relief measures in the inundated areas, an official release said.
Unprecedented rains in Andhra Pradesh over the last two days have disrupted life at many places, especially in Vijayawada and adjoining areas, while 17,000 rain-affected people have been evacuated from across the state.
