New Delhi: A new semiconductor unit will be set up in Sanand, Gujarat. The Modi cabinet has approved the proposal of Kains Semicon Private Limited for this. News agency ANI gave this information quoting the Ministry of Electronics and IT.

According to the statement of the ministry, the proposed unit will be set up with an investment of Rs 3,300 crore. The capacity of this unit will be to manufacture 60 lakh chips per day.
