News Topical, Digital Desk : A two-year-old boy survived for several days after his mother's death. This incident, which occurred in China, has sparked renewed discussion.

In fact, a two-year-old boy in China survived on just noodles and jelly for several days after his mother's death. This incident has garnered attention even abroad. Information about the boy's death came to light when a friend of the boy's mother reported the matter to the police on August 17. He had been unable to contact his mother, Zheng Yu, for several days and went to her home in Cangnan County, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Mother's body found in the house

Zheng was found dead in her messy home, where her young son had survived alone for days. During this time, the child had done everything he could to survive. Food items like jelly, snacks, and pumpkin from the refrigerator were scattered on the bed in his mother's 10-square-meter bedroom.

Baby found in dirty diaper and half shirt

When police arrived, the child was found living his life on his own, wearing a dirty diaper and a half-shirt. A neighbor immediately took him in her arms, cleaned him in her bathroom, and then cared for the child, separated from his mother, as if he were her own child, and rushed him to the hospital.

What is the matter?

According to the South China Morning Post, Zheng was a single mother and faced many hardships, leading a challenging life. Both her parents suffered from intellectual disabilities and relied on welfare assistance, while she and her sister were raised by their grandmother.

Although the exact cause of his death is not yet known, his family suspects that he died due to a sudden illness.

According to the report, Zheng had three children from different relationships. The remaining two are being raised by their father. Zheng met the father of this child online, but they separated after the birth of their son in 2023.

They never officially registered their marriage. Zheng even blocked her husband online, and they last spoke in February.
