Now the Chief Minister of the state Omar Abdullah has thanked the central government and the Prime Minister for this. He said that PM Modi has supported us to move Jammu and Kashmir forward on the path of development.
CM Omar Abdullah wrote on his X handle, “My government has achieved a major milestone by getting the Central Government to approve a road and tunnel project worth Rs 10,600 crore. I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for their continued support in taking Jammu and Kashmir forward on the path of progress, development and connectivity.”
Apart from this, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said, "The Jammu and Kashmir government will work closely with the ministry to ensure the timely implementation of these important infrastructure projects."
