Date and Day: March 16, 2026, Monday.
Pradosh Puja Timings: 06:30 PM to 08:54 PM.
Total Duration of Puja: You will have the best time of 02 hours 24 minutes for Abhishek and worship of Mahadev.
Trayodashi Tithi begins: March 16 at 09:40 am.
End of Trayodashi Tithi: March 17 at 09:23 am.
Simple Puja Method
Lord Shiva is very innocent and is pleased with just a pot of water. Nevertheless, worshipping him according to the prescribed rituals brings immense peace to the mind.
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and take a vow to fast with folded hands in front of Lord Shiva.
- If possible, go to a nearby Shiva temple and offer water, milk and Ganga water on the Shivalinga.
- During Pradosh period (evening), take bath again and wear clean clothes.
- Offer Belpatra, Dhatura, white flowers and Akshat (unbroken rice) on Shivling.
- Chant "Om Namah Shivaya" and read or listen to the story of the Pradosh fast. Finally, perform aarti with camphor.
