Following the correct rules on this day bestows the special blessings of Lord Hanuman, which provides relief from life's suffering, fear, disease, and debt. What to do on Tuesday? (Mangalwar Ko Kya Karen?)

  • On this day, wake up early in the morning, take a bath and then go to Hanuman temple or worship him properly at home.
  • Offer them vermilion, jasmine oil, and red flowers.
  • Reciting the Sunderkand on Tuesday is considered very fruitful. If you don't have time, at least recite the Hanuman Chalisa seven times.
  • Offer Bundi laddu, jaggery, gram and Malpua to Bajrangbali.
  • Donate red lentils, jaggery, wheat, or red clothing to a poor or needy person. This strengthens the planet Mars.
  • If you are troubled by debt or health problems, then observe a fast on Tuesday.

What not to do on Tuesday? (Mangalwar Ko Kya Na Karen?)

  • Don't lend or borrow money on this day. It's believed that loans taken on Tuesday are difficult to repay, and that money lent can be difficult to repay.
  • Cutting hair or nails and shaving on Tuesday is considered inauspicious.
  • If you have kept a fast, then do not consume salt on this day.
  • Do not consume non-vegetarian food and alcohol on this day.
  • Traveling to the west, north, or northwest on Tuesdays is considered prohibited. If necessary, eat jaggery before embarking.
  • Cosmetics should not be purchased on this day.
