News Topical, Digital Desk : Canada Murder News: Very sad news has emerged from Canada. A major revelation has been made in the case of the brutal murder of a woman from Ludhiana, Punjab, in the city of Delta. Police investigations have revealed that the murder was committed by her brother-in-law. The perpetrator first caused an accident in her sister-in-law's car and then set it on fire.

Police arrested brother-in-law

Police have arrested the accused brother-in-law, Gurjot Singh. The deceased woman has been identified as Mandeep Kaur. She was a resident of Gujjarwal, Ludhiana, while Gurjot Singh was a resident of Sidhwan Bet, Lodhiwal village. Both were PRs in Canada. However, the motive for the murder is not yet known.

According to Delta police, a car accident occurred at 11:20 pm on October 26th in the 7000 block of Highway 17. The car subsequently caught fire. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information. Upon inspecting the car, a woman was found dead at the scene, identified as 30-year-old Mandeep Kaur.

The police presented the charge sheet in the court.

When the police investigated the case, they discovered that the brother-in-law had murdered his sister-in-law. The police filed a murder case against the accused. On November 25th, Delta police presented the charge sheet in the case to the court, and the court framed charges.

The Delta Police Crime Branch and Traffic Department investigated the case. Multiple departments, including the Delta Major Crimes Section, Traffic Department, and K-9 Unit, were involved in the investigation. During the investigation, suspicious circumstances were identified, leading to the case being upgraded to a murder investigation.

Gurjot Singh was charged with inhumane treatment of human remains (section 182(b) of the Criminal Code). On November 25, Crown Counsel accepted a further conviction for second-degree murder under section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.

The wedding took place in March this year.

Mandeep Kaur was married this year. She previously lived in Edmonton, Canada. Mandeep Kaur's father, Jagdev Singh, said that she married Anmol Jeet on March 7th in Lodhiwal village, Sidhwan Bet. Afterward, she moved to Delta City with her in-laws.

He said that on October 26th, he received a call informing him that Mandeep had been in an accident and died in the hospital. He tried to perform the last rites immediately, but his son Harry filed a police complaint, demanding an investigation. The police stopped the funeral and then began an investigation.

The woman's funeral and final prayers were held on November 16th. He said that the Delta police have now registered a case against the perpetrator under stringent criminal laws. He now hopes that his daughter will receive justice.
