Dhurandhar has been a threat to many blockbuster films since its release. After breaking records held by films like Stree 2, Animal, Pathan, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it has been poised to surpass Jawaan for several days. Now, on the 28th day, Jawaan has finally succumbed to Dhurandhar.

Dhurandhar has created such a sensation this New Year that it has become the second highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the Ranveer Singh -starrer Dhurandhar has grossed ₹1,164.05 crore worldwide, while Jawaan's all-time worldwide collection was ₹1,148.32 crore. Now, Dhurandhar's next target is Aamir Khan's Dangal, which has been the highest-grossing film for the past 10 years. It grossed ₹1968 crore worldwide. This record has yet to be broken by any Indian film, not even Pushpa 2.
When will Dhurandhar Part 2 come?
The second part of Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar will also hit theaters in three months. While Dhurandhar may not have clashed with any other film, Part 2 will clash with Yash's Toxic. Dhurandhar 2 will release in theaters on March 19, 2026, alongside Yash's Toxic. The film will see the return of characters like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt. However, Akshaye Khanna, who died in the first part, will not be seen in the second part.
