Despite the deaths of many soldiers, Pakistan remains unwilling to relent. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Afghan retaliation. The Afghan army not only opened fire at the Durand Line at midnight, but also captured several Pakistani outposts. Around 60 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in a statement, said that this provocation by Afghanistan is condemnable and that strict action will be taken against it, as Pakistan will never compromise on its security.

Pakistan's defense will not be compromised. Every provocation will be met with a befitting and decisive response.

Shahbaz Sharif has blamed the Taliban leadership for the ongoing tensions on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, saying they are fueling terrorism on Afghan soil.

Pakistan attacked Kabul

The Pakistani army launched an airstrike on Kabul on Friday, prompting Taliban-led Afghan forces to launch an attack across the border. Several Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack.

The Pakistani government says Kabul harbors the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) insurgent group, which carries out terrorism against Pakistan. However, Afghanistan has vehemently denied these allegations.
