In a social media post, Goldy Dhillon of the Bishnoi gang said that his gang was behind the murder of Indian-origin industrialist Darshan Singh Sahasi.

The gang claims that Sahasi was involved in a major drug trade and had demanded money from them. When they failed to pay, the gang murdered him.

Firing also took place at the singer's house

Goldy has also claimed responsibility for the shooting at the home of Punjabi singer Channi Nattan. In a social media post, he wrote, "Sat Sri Akal! I am Goldy Dhillon (Lawrence Bishnoi gang). The reason for the shooting at singer Channi Nattan's home yesterday is Sardar Kheda."

Lawrence Gaines issued a stern warning to the music industry, saying, “Any singer who works with or has any connection with Sardar Kheda in the future will be solely responsible for their losses. This is because we will continue to cause huge losses to Sardar Kheda.”

Dhillon further said that the attack was not personal against Nattan, "We have no personal enmity with Channi Nattan."
