The family members and the entire village live in fear of the snake. Some call it a curse, while others say otherwise. Currently, conscious villagers have appealed to the administration to ask the forest department to capture the snake. Meanwhile, the deaths of two women from the same family have left the entire family in a dire state. The villagers have stopped sleeping on the ground and are sleeping on the rooftops.
According to reports, Aarti (30), wife of Pintu Prajapati, was sleeping in her home on the night of Tuesday, September 30th. Suddenly, a poisonous snake bit her. Upon learning of the incident, the family rushed her to Orai Medical College, where doctors declared her dead. Aarti left behind two sons and a daughter. This incident brought grief to the family and sent shockwaves through the village.
The family had barely recovered from Aarti's death when Krishna Kumari (35), wife of Arvind, was bitten by the same snake while sleeping at night. As soon as she felt the snake bite, she fell unconscious. Her family initially took her to Gora Bhupka for treatment, but when her condition worsened, she was taken to Orai Medical College. Doctors there declared her dead. Krishna Kumari left behind two sons, Anurag (12), Anshul (14), and a daughter, Niharika (9).
Snake scare in the village
These two consecutive deaths have spread panic throughout the village. Villagers said this is the first time they've seen a single snake kill two members of the same family. They said the snake was unusual in appearance and so venomous that the two women couldn't survive. Now, villagers are afraid to sleep on the ground, and most are spending the night on rooftops. The entire village is in mourning.
The snake charmers caught a snake
Following the incident, several snake charmers and godmen arrived in the village. With the help of the villagers, a snake was captured, killed, and burned. One snake charmer claimed that these snakes live in pairs, one of which has died, but the other is still alive. This is why the villagers remain in fear, and families spend their nights in fear.
Demand for special team to catch snakes
The villagers have demanded that the administration send a special snake catching team to the village. The health department should also launch an awareness campaign in the village so that in the future, victims can be taken directly to the hospital without wasting time on exorcism. They have also demanded spraying and protective measures to protect the village from snakes.
