
News Topical, Digital Desk : A sensational murder case has emerged from Barmer, Rajasthan. Following their father's death, two brothers clashed over the money for funeral rites. The argument quickly escalated, and the younger brother killed his elder brother with an axe. The accused then fled the scene.
The incident reportedly occurred around 11 p.m. Wednesday night in the Bijrad area of Barmer district. A man allegedly killed his older brother with an axe after a dispute over the cost of their father's funeral. The accused fled the scene after the attack.
Dispute started over funeral money
Regarding this incident, SHO Magaram said that this incident took place late Wednesday night in Navtala village of Bijrad police station area, when there was a heated argument between 35-year-old Ganesh Ram and his younger brother 30-year-old Kishan Ram over the money spent on their father's funeral. SHO said that as the argument escalated, Kishan Ram attacked his elder brother with an axe and hit him on the back of the head, due to which he died on the spot.
The body was sent for postmortem
The SHO stated that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and forensic teams have been called to the scene to collect evidence. The accused has fled the scene. The SHO stated that separate teams have been deployed to locate and arrest the accused.
The deceased had no children
According to police, farmer Ganesh lived with his younger brother and elderly mother. His wife died in 2019, and the couple had no children.
