Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann questioned the Haryana government's sports policy regarding this matter. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has now responded.

Nayab Singh Saini has offered advice to the Punjab Chief Minister. He urged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to focus on eliminating drug abuse in Punjab. The Haryana Chief Minister stated that it is deeply saddening that the Punjab Chief Minister is politicizing the deaths of athletes. 

'No one knows what happens in Punjab after evening' - Nayab Saini

Meanwhile, Nayab Singh Saini said that Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal had promised to eradicate drug addiction from the state within a month, but that hasn't happened. I went to Punjab to campaign. People said they didn't want jobs, but rather wanted to eradicate drug addiction. 

In such a situation, Nayab Singh Saini said that we should focus on what is happening in Punjab and not politicize the deaths of players in Haryana. Everything is fine in Punjab from 9 am to 5 pm, but no one knows what happens after that.

Bhagwant Mann's minister retaliated

Now, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema has hit back at Nayab Singh Saini, saying that Saini should speak carefully on this matter. He said that Nayab Singh Saini should set his own house in order. He said, "Two players died due to the Haryana government's negligence, so instead of questioning Punjab, the Haryana Chief Minister should set his own sports infrastructure in order."

Bhagwant Mann met Hardik Rathi's family

In fact, basketball player Hardik Rathi died during practice in Rohtak, Haryana. A basketball pole fell on him. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with Hardik's family and offered condolences. Following this, Bhagwant Mann questioned the Haryana government's sports policy. 

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had raised questions about the poor state of Haryana's sports infrastructure and administrative negligence. Following Hardik Rathi's death, the Haryana government suspended sports officer Anoop Singh. A committee has also been formed to investigate and improve sports policy. 

Promises to fulfill every demand of Hardik Rathi's family

Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam stated that every demand of Hardik Rathi's family would be met. He also stated that the government is responsible for the safety of athletes. Gautam stated that Hardik Rathi was a promising athlete and that his death has saddened the entire nation. Chief Minister Nayab Saini is with the family in this hour of grief.
