Its construction cost ₹72.78 crore. CM Yogi said that the construction of this state-of-the-art forensic lab will be a game changer for modern policing.
CM Yogi said that terrorist incidents occur anywhere in the state, and criminals commit crimes by firing their weapons. Previously, ballistic tests took time, but now that will no longer be possible. DNA testing will also be available in the Gorakhpur lab. Criminals will no longer be able to escape.
'Employment opportunities will also be created'
This can also create jobs in the state. To this end, we have established the UP Forensic Institute in Lucknow, which offers various courses. This will be an important step towards providing evidence through scientific technology to prevent new crimes in today's times.
Today, this upgraded lab in Gorakhpur will have all the necessary facilities, which will truly expedite investigations, ensure accurate and evidence-based investigations. This forensic lab will prove extremely useful for modern policing, ensuring timely justice and timely punishment for criminals.
Claims to expedite the recruitment process
