According to reports from Bollywood Hungama, work is in full swing on the grand sets for Golmaal 5. Rohit usually prefers to shoot his films in Hyderabad, the Ramoji Film City, or Goa. For Golmaal 5, he has chosen Mumbai's Film City. Several grand sets, including a police station, people's homes, and a cafe, are being constructed there.

These sets will be completed by the first week of next month. Shooting is planned to begin at the end of February. According to sources close to the film, Rohit chose Mumbai Film City for the shoot so that the actors could arrive at the set time each day and return to their homes and families after the shoot.

There was talk of a female villain in Rohit Shetty's film, with names like Kareena Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan being considered. However, the makers have not yet finalized any actress. The film is expected to be released in 2027.
