News Topical, Digital Desk : Five people were killed when an Innova car plunged into a ravine in Vani, Nashik, Maharashtra. The incident occurred as devotees were returning from a pilgrimage to the Saptashrungi Devi shrine. According to reports, the driver lost control of the car near Ganesh Point in the Ghat area and it plunged into the ravine.

It is being reported that the car broke through a security barricade and fell straight into a ravine. The accident occurred while returning from a pilgrimage to the Mata Mandir. Local residents and disaster management teams have launched rescue and relief operations. The deep ravine is hampering rescue efforts.
