Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia today. Before his visit, he also gave a special message to both the countries.

 

The PM said that India considers Saudi Arabia a force for positivity and stability in the region and the growing defence and security ties and cooperation between the two countries reflect deep mutual trust.

 

Message of peace and stability

The PM said that as maritime neighbours, India and Saudi Arabia believe in bringing peace and stability. The Prime Minister further said that it is our shared commitment to regional stability that keeps us united to address emerging challenges in the neighbourhood.

 

Both countries are exploring new frontiers of cooperation in cyber security

Modi said that today we are also exploring new frontiers of cooperation in cyber security. The PM said that recognizing its growing importance in today's interconnected world, last year we achieved an important milestone and the armies of the two countries also conducted the first joint exercise.

 

The PM further said that today I am looking forward to meeting the Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
