New Delhi: Horror comedy film 'Stree 2' is not ready to leave the throne of the box office. After dethroning Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer movie Kalki 2898 AD, it has now firmly sat on the throne, due to which Khel-Khel Mein and Veda have already lost their shine, but now it has become a threat for the upcoming films as well.

This movie, directed by Amar Kaushik, has completed 30 days of its release in theatres, but the film is continuously earning crores. Early figures of the 30th day of its release on Saturday have come out, which may surprise you too.

'Stree-2' became rich on Saturday

Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy film had a box office opening of 76 crores, which was the highest earning Hindi film of the year. Only time will tell if Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Devra: Part 1' is able to dethrone Stree 2 or not, but for now, this movie is ruling the roost.

Stree 2, which collected approximately 2.75 crores on Friday, was blessed on Saturday as well. The movie had collected 36.1 crores last week. According to the early figures of Sakanlik.com, this movie has earned 2.32 crores on a single day on the 30th day of its release. These are early figures, this collection may fluctuate by morning.

Shraddha Kapoor's movie has collected around 566 crores in total at the domestic box office in 30 days. If Stree 2 continues to run at the box office like this for a few more days, then this movie will wipe out Kareena Kapoor's 'The Buckingham Murders' from the box office.
