New Delhi: The experiments that filmmaker Karan Johar is doing with his films these days are really being liked by the audience. Karan, who often makes masala and proper Bollywood romantic type movies, is seen doing something new this year. First with Kill and now with Jigra, he is setting a new standard for judging films.

Alia Bhatt will be seen in the role of a sister

Now recently the intense trailer of Alia Bhatt's film Jigra has been released. Vedang Raina will also be seen in this thriller drama by Vasan Bala. Earlier, he has made his OTT debut with 'The Archies'. After watching the first teaser, it was understood that Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Vedang's protective sister (Satya) in this film. But to what extent can she go to save her brother and what difficulties will she overcome, you will get to see a sample of this in its trailer.

What's new in the trailer?

After watching the trailer, you will get to see many emotional and powerful moments in between. Vedang Rain i.e. Ankur gets caught in a drug case abroad. The police is trying to make him confess his crime and is torturing him in all kinds of ways. Both Satya and Ankur are orphans and Satya has only three months to save her brother. She calls him from time to time and takes updates whether anyone has troubled her brother or not. During this, she also takes many risks. In one scene, she can be seen threatening to cut her veins and even getting shot in a fight. However, even after all these difficulties, there is no fear in Satya's eyes.

Alia will be seen in full action mode in the film. She is especially known for playing emotional roles very well. On the other hand, Vedang Raina has this second chance to prove himself after Archies and he fits perfectly in this role.

When will the film be released?

Jigra is Alia's second film as a producer after Darlings in 2022. Her production house, Eternal Sunshine, has produced the film in association with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film will release in theatres on October 11.
