New Delhi: Rouse Avenue Court rejected the petition to restart the coaching institute in the building of Rao IAS Study Circle, a coaching center located in Old Rajendra Nagar. Abhishek Gupta, CEO of the coaching center, had filed an application in the court to restart the coaching institute and argued that the premises are needed for the smooth running of the classes. Chief Judicial Magistrate Nishant Garg rejected the petitioner's application after hearing the arguments of the advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the CBI.
The CBI had opposed Gupta's application in the case and argued that no security measures have been taken in the coaching building yet. Permission to run the educational institute should not be given until security measures are taken in the building.
It is noteworthy that on 27th July, the basement of the building got flooded due to rain water on the road in front of the coaching centre in Old Rajendra Nagar. Due to which three UPSC civil service aspirants died. Later, the building was sealed.
