News Topical, Digital Desk : The Indian Youth Congress staged a unique protest in the national capital, Delhi, on Friday (November 7) against alleged vote-stealing in the Haryana Assembly elections. Led by National President Uday Bhanu Chib, activists took out a "funeral procession" and denounced three Election Commission officials—Gyanesh Kumar, Sukhbir Sandhu, and Vivek Joshi—as "murderers of democracy."

The protest began at the Youth Congress office. Workers dressed in black took to the streets, carrying placards that read, "Democracy is not dead, it has been murdered." As the group moved toward Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, Delhi Police erected barricades. Several workers, including Uday Bhanu Chib, were detained.

This is not a mistake, it is a planned theft – Congress

Bhanu Chib launched a scathing attack. He said, "The Congress government in Haryana was stolen through vote theft. Rahul Gandhi has presented the country with black and white proof of this. The voter list contains 22 photos of a Brazilian model, duplicate faces, ghost addresses—this is not a mistake, it's a planned theft."

'EC's job is to make BJP win and the public lose'

Chib directly accused the Election Commission, "Today the main job of the ECI is to murder democracy, make the BJP win and the public lose. 25 lakh fake votes were cast. This is not a technical flaw, it is a scripted conspiracy to make Modi win."

Youth Congress National Media Chairman Varun Pandey said, "Despite the detention, the morale of the workers is high." Delhi in-charge Khushboo Sharma, Haryana in-charge Satyawan Gehlot, Delhi President Akshay Lakra and Haryana President Nishit Kataria, who were present on the spot, also demanded a fair investigation from the ECI.
