News Topical, Digital Desk : A 22-year-old man, who had killed his parents and elder brother at his house in south Delhi's Maidan Garhi area, was arrested while he was allegedly trying to commit suicide at the AIIMS Delhi Metro station, police said on Thursday.

Police said the accused has been identified as Siddharth and is suffering from mental health problems. A senior police officer said, "He was arrested on Thursday evening while trying to jump off the platform at AIIMS Delhi Metro station."

The police and security guards saw and ran to rescue him

He said that the police and security guards saw him and ran to save him. When he was asked why he took this step, he confessed to killing his father, mother and brother.

Police said the deceased were identified as Prem Singh, his wife Rajni and their elder son Hrithik (24). Prem was aged between 45 and 50, while Rajni was aged between 40 and 45.
