Delhi: Miscreants looted a bag containing Rs 36 lakh while an employee was carrying cash, six arrested.:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Police have solved a sensational robbery in Delhi's North West district. In the Jahangirpuri area, joint teams of Delhi Police arrested six suspects and recovered a significant portion of the stolen money and goods.

According to Delhi Police, the incident occurred on November 28, 2025. The victim, Roshan Lal, who works for a firm , was on his scooter around 7:45 pm, carrying 3.6 million rupees in cash to deliver to his employer. As he approached the Mukundpur flyover , he was stopped by two men on motorcycles .

The crooks fled with the cash

One of the accused pushed the scooter off, while the other attacked with a knife. The victim, who suffered a hand injury, fled the scene to save his life. The assailants fled with the bag containing cash and the scooter . The injured man was hospitalized .

Delhi Police took important action on intelligence information

Given the seriousness of the case, the Delhi Police formed a team. Based on CCTV footage , technical surveillance, and information from informants, the police conducted repeated raids . The police initially arrested four accused , and their information led to the arrest of two others .

Police recovered ₹10.40 lakh in cash, the victim's scooter , two motorcycles , a Swift Desire car purchased with the looted money , and two mobile phones from the accused . Several of the arrested accused have previously been involved in serious cases, including murder, Arms Act crimes , theft, and snatching . Police are currently investigating the accused 's other criminal activities.
