Villagers from the Janapur area of Sirohi district protested by boycotting the rural service camp held on Friday (September 26). Officials and employees from 18 departments were present at the camp, but not a single villager arrived.
The villagers clearly state that this protest will not stop until the college allocation in Jharoli is canceled and the college is built in Janapur . At the camp site, the villagers raised strong slogans against the administration and BJP public representatives . They stated unequivocally that if the government does not announce the construction of a college in Janapur soon , this protest will escalate into a widespread mass movement.

Villagers say that there is no direct transportation available to Jharoli . Therefore , students will face significant difficulties in reaching the college . On the other hand, Janapur village is connected to the national highway , where transportation is readily available. This will ensure that students will not face any difficulties.

Additional Development Officer Jitendra Ranawat said that the villagers boycotted the rural service camp today. They demanded that the college be built in Janapur . The protest is likely to continue until the allotment in Jharoli is cancelled .
