News Topical, Digital Desk : Coforge Ltd announced its results for the quarter ended September after the stock market closed on Friday. The company saw an increase in profits and revenue, while it also announced a dividend for investors. In a filing to the exchange, the company said its profit increased by 18.4 percent to ₹375.8 crore (US$1.7 billion), compared to ₹317.4 crore (US$1.7 billion) in the previous quarter (Q1). Revenue increased by 8 percent to ₹3985.7 crore (US$1.7 billion), compared to ₹3688.6 crore (US$1.6 billion) in the previous quarter.
The company said its EBIT increased by 34% to ₹560 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹417.8 crore in the previous quarter. EBIT margin also increased from 11.4% to 14%. The company's dollar revenue was $462 million, compared to $442 million in the previous quarter. According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, dollar revenue in Q2 was expected to be $469 million.
Dividend Announcement: Coforge has declared its fourth interim dividend of ₹4 per share for its shareholders. The company's stock closed at ₹1,760, up 0.30% on Friday. Over the past year, the company's stock has gained 14.30%.
