News Topical, Digital Desk : Coal India informed after market close on Thursday that the company has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation for the development of rail infrastructure of Coal India and its subsidiaries. The company said in an exchange filing, "Coal India Limited (CIL) and Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 05 June 2025 at Kolkata with the intention of developing the rail infrastructure of CIL and its subsidiaries. The world's leading coal company Coal India Limited has reported a profit of Rs 9,604 crore in the quarter ended March 2025.
