Nifty and Sensex once again managed to close in the green. Buying was seen in midcap and smallcap stocks. On the sectoral front, buying was seen in IT, FMCG and realty stocks. Metal, infra and energy indices closed on a positive note. Pressure was seen on pharma, banking and oil & gas stocks.
