News Topical, Digital Desk : Addressing the Foundation Day and swearing-in ceremony held at Kosmanara Dham on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that when society is organized and aware, development gains real strength. The unity, education, and dedication of the Sahu community are playing a vital role in the state's social and economic upliftment. Active participation of the community is essential in building a developed Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the difference amount of ₹3100 per quintal will be provided in one lump sum before Holi to over 2.5 million farmers who sold paddy at the support price. An amount of approximately ₹10,000 crore will be transferred directly to farmers' accounts. He said that the prosperity of our brothers and sisters, who feed us, is the government's top priority and the government is committed to ensuring that farmers' hard work is respected.
Big relief and development schemes for farmers
Earlier, Chief Minister Sai performed puja at 108 Satyanarayan Baba and Bhakt Mata Karma-Krishna temple in Kosmanara and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state and extended greetings on Mahashivratri.
Addressing the gathering, he said that since February 16, 1998, Pujya Satyanarayan Baba has been engaged in continuous penance under the open sky. His practice of meditation for more than 28 years, spanning all three seasons, is truly unique and inspiring. This shrine has become a powerful symbol of social harmony, faith, and brotherhood.
The Chief Minister said that with Baba's blessings, he had the opportunity to serve as a Member of Parliament four times and today has the privilege of serving as Chief Minister. He prayed to Baba Bholenath and Baba Satyanarayan for their continued blessings on the people of the state.
During the program, the Chief Minister announced ₹50 lakh for additional construction on the Karma Sahu Community Hall in Kosmanara. He also mentioned the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana and the Chief Minister's Tirtha Darshan Yojana, saying that through these schemes, people of the state are getting the opportunity to visit major pilgrimage sites in the country, including Ayodhya.
Social harmony and felicitation ceremony
Tribhuvan Sahu, Bharat Lal Sahu, Kapil Nath, Aruna Sahu, Manoj Sahu, and Vedram Sahu were honored for their outstanding contributions to social welfare at the ceremony. The Korba District Sahu Association's magazine and the Baba Satyanarayan Chalisa were also released.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, while extending Mahashivratri greetings, said that the unity of the Sahu community will play a crucial role in building a developed Chhattisgarh. Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary provided information on proposed development projects worth approximately 1.5 crore rupees for Kosmanara Dham. State President of the Sahu community, Dr. Nirendra Sahu, administered the oath of office to the newly elected District Sahu Association officials from seven districts of Bilaspur division.
