The young man wrote an emotional post

The young man posted on Reddit, "Hey everyone, I'm 21 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in 2023. After more chemotherapy sessions and hospital stays than I can count, the doctors have told me there's nothing left to do. I may not live to see the end of this year."

Life is quietly ending...

Diwali is coming soon, and the streets are already lit up. It's sad to know that this will be the last time I see them. I will miss the lights, the laughter, and the noise. It's strange to watch life go on while mine is quietly ending. I know that next year, someone else will light the diyas in my place, and I will be just a memory.

Sometimes at night, I still find myself thinking about the future, as if it's become a habit. I had dreams too... of traveling a little more, of starting something of my own. Then I remember that my time is running out, and the thought slowly fades.

I told myself why I posted this.

He further wrote, "I'm home and I can see the sadness on my parents' faces. I don't understand why I'm posting this. Perhaps I'm just trying to leave a small mark before I get lost in whatever lies ahead. See you later!"
