Dahuja of Shriram General Insurance says that first of all the rejection letter of the insurance company should be read carefully. If the claim is rejected due to any missing or incomplete information, then you can correct it and submit the claim again. On the other hand, if the claim is rejected for any wrong reason, then you should contact the insurance company. If the company does not listen to you, then you can also appeal against it to the insurance regulator - Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) with all the evidence.
