New Delhi: Market regulator Securities and Exchange of India (SEBI) chief Madhabi Puri Buch has been in the news for a few days. Recently Hindenburg had made several allegations against her. Now SEBI officials have also accused Buch of poor work culture.

According to media reports, SEBI officials sent a letter to the Finance Ministry. In this letter, the officials said that shouting, scolding and even insulting publicly during meetings has become a common thing in the SEBI office. However, SEBI gave its response to this complaint of the employees. SEBI said that it makes every effort to make the work culture conducive. Even if an employee has any problem, it also tries to solve it.

SEBI said that changes have been made in the format of review meetings to improve the work culture of the office. Information about these changes was given through email on 3rd September itself.

SEBI officials have given a letter titled 'Grievances of SEBI Officers - A Call for Respect'. In this letter, the officer said that SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch's language is bad towards the employees of the company. Madhabi has been accused of monitoring every minute's activities. Apart from this, she has set such targets which are impossible to achieve. Apart from this, there are changes in the targets every day, which has a bad effect on the mental health of the employees.

Currently, SEBI has about 1 thousand grade A and assistant managers and many officers. All these officers have signed the letter sent to the Finance Ministry. SEBI officials said that when the management did not listen to them, then they wrote a letter to the Finance Ministry.
