The trading volume clocked across furniture-rental major Rentomojo, transmission engineering firm Kanohar Electricals, and architectural facade manufacturer Glass Wall Systems (India) accounted for roughly 6 percent of the NSE's entire daily cash market turnover of ₹98,222 crore. Institutional funds, high-net-worth investors (HNIs), and retail participants scrambled to adjust initial portfolio allocations, triggering explosive intraday volatility, circuit-breaker moves, and elevated churn ratios rarely observed across secondary listings.
Rentomojo Leads Cash Market Action with ₹2,349 Crore Churn and 32% Listing Gains
Leading the high-volume rally among the trio, Rentomojo recorded an intraday traded value of ₹2,349 crore on the NSE following its Thursday morning debut at ₹489.90 per share. The stock experienced strong buying momentum, hitting an intraday peak of ₹547 before closing at ₹534.25, up 32.2 percent over its initial public offering (IPO) issue price of ₹404. Total market activity saw approximately 4.6 crore equity shares change hands, translating to a trading turnover equivalent to 42 percent of the company's total market capitalization of ₹5,562 crore. The company, which successfully raised ₹1,256 crore from the primary market to fuel logistics infrastructure and product expansion, emerged as the most actively traded single stock across the exchange's secondary cash segment.
Kanohar Electricals and Glass Wall Systems Log Exceptional Volumes and Circuit Limits
Heavy institutional participation also dominated shares of Kanohar Electricals and Glass Wall Systems (India), sustaining secondary market interest following their debuts. Kanohar Electricals—which raised ₹1,056 crore via its IPO and jumped 19 percent on its Wednesday listing—advanced an additional 9 percent on Thursday to settle at ₹817, representing a cumulative 29 percent gain over its issue price of ₹632 on total exchange turnover of ₹1,916 crore across 2.3 crore shares. Concurrently, Glass Wall Systems (India) witnessed heavy demand that locked the counter into its upper circuit filter, recording ₹1,546 crore in traded value across 6.4 crore shares. Against the firm's closing market capitalization of ₹2,267 crore, the value of shares traded on Thursday exceeded an extraordinary 68 percent of its total equity valuation, cementing the trio as central drivers of exchange liquidity.
