News Topical, Digital Desk : On March 15th, the headless body of a woman was found near a canal in Dhundhrawali village, Narsena police station in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. On Monday (March 23rd), police made a shocking revelation in this case. The deceased woman was identified as Babli, a resident of Delhi. She was murdered by her lover, Vikas, along with his brother and friend. Police have arrested Vikas and his friend, Aman, while two others remain at large.
The deceased, Babli, and Vikas were in a love relationship. Babli's husband had died earlier, and she was pressuring Vikas to marry her. This led Vikas to murder her. Police have also recovered the weapon and bike used in the murder.
What is the whole matter?
Revealing the case, Superintendent of Police (City) Shankar Prasad said in a press conference that Babli was a mother of three children and her husband, Ajay, had died of cancer two and a half years ago. Ajay's co-workers, Vikas and Aman, visited Babli's home, and they developed a relationship. The two were living together.
But on December 12, 2025, Vikas's family arranged his marriage elsewhere. This angered Babli, who continued to pressure Vikas to marry and live with her. Babli also threatened to file a lawsuit, which upset Vikas. Fed up with this pressure, Vikas, along with his brother Sachin, Ajit, and friend Aman, hatched a murder plot.
Brought Babli on the bike
As part of the conspiracy, on March 15, the accused took Babli on a motorcycle to the Narsaina area of Bulandshahr and beheaded her with a knife. To conceal her identity, they dumped the body in a field and threw the head into bushes about 500 meters away from the body. They then fled.
Mother came from Delhi and identified
The police used social media to identify the deceased. Babli's mother then went to the Naval Police Station in Delhi to identify the body. CCTV footage identified the motorcycle. Upon interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime.
